Cate McCoy: Our friend at work. Cate was our database guru in her work capacity. Extremely good at her job, fun to work with and funny, we had a lot of laughs while getting some pretty intense work done. Sadly, she lost her battle with ALS and passed, but when you read her rememberence, it makes you realize others should know what a badass she was.
Looking at what all she accomplished in her life... it's hard to feel anything other than admiration for her work ethic and love for life. There's definitely a lesson in there.
Seeing this life history makes me realize I should treat every day like it may be my last. Don't let things get in my way. I have this printed and framed on my wall as a reminder.
